Kapadokya Car Hire

Car Hire
When you're planning a trip to the region of Kapadokya, or Cappadocia, make sure to employ our Kapadokya car hire services as your main means of transportation. The region offers a particular type of experience due to its unique and some might call it even weird, moon-like landscape featuring a lot of dust, sand as well as underground cities and churches and houses carved into rocks and caves.

The region is served by two major airports, one of them being Kayseri Airport and the other one being Nevsehir Airport, whichever one of these you touch down at, you can then contact our respective Kapadokya car rental office and pick up your reserved vehicle.

One of the attractions that you must visit while in Kapadokya is the Kaymakli Underground City. This city or village is made up of about a hundred underground tunnels and the houses were built around these tunnels. Nowadays the tunnels are used as storage areas or stables but the place is an extremely interesting place to visit to say the least.

The Churches of Goreme are yet another sight that you'll have to see while in Kapadokya. These churches were carved into soft rock and can be found alongside houses and monasteries that were also carved into rock. Besides the obvious novelty of them being carved into rocks the churches feature lots of examples of Byzantine art stemming from the post-iconoclastic period, the frescoes being a rather unique artistic achievement from that period.

The Zelve Monastery is also carved into rock and while it doesn't feature the rich frescoes of the Goreme churches it is still a very interesting place to visit. The place is rather large, it is spread over three valleys, two of which are connected via a tunnel, featuring a lot of rooms and passages you will not regret your visit there.

These are of course only a few of the many sights and attractions that the region of Kapadokya has to offer its visitors, make sure to employ our Kapadokya car hire services in order to better explore it and its many interesting locations.
