When it comes to natural attractions there’s the Mendenhall Glacier which is a massive one and a half wide glacier. There is a Visitor Center which offers a great view of the glacier and is very informative. There is also a special trail called the West Glacier trail which will lead you up to the glacier, however this is an activity best left to the more adventurous.
