There are other types of attractions in the city such as Wright Park which includes the Seymour Botanical Conservatory or the Union Station which also features Dale Chihuly glass exhibits.
The University of Washington Tacoma is located in the historic business district near downtown and a walking tour of the are is a great suggestion to first-time visitors.
