Audi Prologue Avant is to be shown off at the Geneva Auto Show
With only days before the 85th edition of one of the greatest automotive events, Audi brings a new concept car to the fore, a model that is likely to provide competition for the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake. Audi Prologue Avant is to be shown off at the Geneva Auto Show.
Since we have already talked about the March 2015 edition of the Geneva Auto Show, a great event we are all anxiously looking forward to, it is time to take a look into the appealing stuff you are actually going to find once there.
Described in the press release as Sporty and elegant, versatile and connected, Audi Prologue Avant promotes a concept car that looks amazing, a large break measuring 5.1 m in length and almost 2 m in width and being 1.4 m tall, with a sleek interior accommodating 4 passengers seated individually and Tie Fighter display system and controls that need virtually no buttons, detachable screens, tablets and other digital gear.
If we take a look under the hood, we find a hybrid system of propulsion, which combines a V6 TDI 3 liter motor with an electric unit, offering a total output of 455 hp. This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 4 seconds. Audi also claims that Prologue Avant offers a record minuscule fuel consumption of a mere 1.6 liters/ 100 km and 43 g/km emissions.
The new epitome of the German manufacturer’s new philosophy. After this sneak-peek preview, we are really looking forward to seeing the “live” Audi Prologue Avant In Switzerland as soon as possible.
Just to refresh your memory, we remind you that the 85th Geneva International Motor Show is scheduled to take place between 5 and 15 March 2015 at Palexpo.
