Paris Motor Show 2014

This October, all cars and all car lovers have rendez-vous in Paris, at the Mondial de l’Automobile, popularly known as the Paris Motor Show 2014. Between the 4th and 10th of October, the world prepares for an exhibit of glamour, prestige and speed, as both concept cars and mass production vehicles will be presented.

The Paris Motor Show 2014 is a biennial event (taking place in the French capital on even-numbered years and in Frankfurt on each odd-numbered year) and is the greatest automotive exhibit of the season and one of the greatest of the calendar. It is the place where prestigious brands come to promote their models; in the past years, Porsche Cayenne, Kia Sportage and Audi A4 all debuted here.

This year, there is much anticipation around the brand – new production models, such as Fiat 500X, Mercedes AMG GT and Jaguar XE. In the next generation section, the revelations will be the latest Volvo concept (XC90, widely regarded as the safest car in the world), the new Mazda MX-5 (having arrived at its 4th generation) and the TT Roadster.

Of course, the existing models also occupy a significant place in the show, represented mainly by Ford C-MAX, Audi A1 and Mercedes B-Class. In 2014, Ford has (again) topped the list of most popular

The schedule of the Paris Motor Show 2014 was carefully constructed so that each manufacturer has its own glorious moment in the spotlight. The French manufacturers Citroen Renault and Peugeot are also, quite predictably, expected to line up their new concept vehicles in their home show, reason of enthusiasm for the French public.

Experts, manufacturers, companies and the automotive press are all expected to be present, as well as the international public. The Paris Motor Show 2014 presents interest for the car hire companies competing on the auto national and international market.
