Preparing for the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

As you might expect, like in every other year, we are all preparing for the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, scheduled for this year between October 30th and November 8th.
The capital city of Japan holds the last notable automotive event of this year at the famous Tokyo Big Sight. This is the 44th edition of the Tokyo Motor Show. Her Imperial Highness Princess Yohko of Mikasa is Patron of the event and the entire show is a display of the Japanese – and international – skill and love of technology and innovation. The Tokyo Motor Show wants to impose itself as a leading last generation, high-tech motor show, taking pride in its over 60 years of tradition.
The theme of this year’s edition is “Technology + Fantasy” – and the venue combines both.
But above all, let’s look into the news of this year. Mitsubishi goes all electric with the eX compact SUV, a cheerful looking, colorful, all-electric car.
Toyota will also present its S-FR coupe sports beauty, which is described as “a robot having a tender and sympathetic heart”.
The Tokyo Big Sight will host the 601st anniversary of the event with a parade of 70 passenger vehicles, commercial cars and motorcycles from all auto era, from the 1950s to date. After the parade, the collection might be on display for the visitors to admire.
The auto shows set the trend for the future of cars in general, so one day soon, we will get to see them populating the streets and highways. They will be soon available, but in the meantime, you should start planning your trip to Japan and maybe look into the idea of Tokyo car rental, since you will need mobility to get around such a crowded maze as the host city of the great 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
