Bermuda is one of the very few last remains of what once used to be the very vast British colonial empire in North America. While nowadays Bermuda is a self-governing British territory the place itself is part British, part American but mostly Bermudian.
The island culture in Bermuda offers an interesting mix of formal British culture wrapped up in a pair of Bermuda shorts, that’s possibly the best way of explaining it. As far as the nightlife goes, the most popular place to be is somewhere on the busy waterfront at Front Street in Hamilton, this is a place where Victorian-era houses offer wonderful Atlantic views, and music off all types permeates the air. Whether you want to listen to the traditional steel-drum or calypso bands, or you’re into some live jazz, or you want to enjoy a pint at a pub, you’ll find them all here.
