What are the most expensive cars of 2016?

Dear readers, welcome to the New Year and welcome back on our blog! We were wondering what subject to explore today and it suddenly dawned on us: we are going to talk about cars! (Which, in retrospect, looks like a pretty logical choice for a car site). But instead of talking generalities about engines and wheels, drivers and their cars, we are going to answer a question you might have asked already: What are the most expensive cars of 2016?

If you had the money, wouldn’t you want to buy the best, the safest, the fastest or simply the coolest car on the market? Although I guess my reasonable answer is in fact, “no”, let’s admit that much of our choices are determined, if not limited, by money (or the lack of it). But again, let’s imagine we had all the money we could spend. What extravagant, expensive car could we buy?

Without farther ado, here is the list of the most costly extravagant sports cars you can purchase in the New Year 2016:

Scheduled to be launched on the international market in the coming months, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, which premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015, is an amazing, hot and mean car, with an 8 liter W 16 engine capable of giving 1500 hp and, of course, a 7-gear making it fast; the fastest! It is also one of the most expensive cars in the world, with a price starting at 2.5 million dollars.

A lot more affordable – but still both amazing and pricey – is the June Ford GT, with an established cost of 400.000 dollars. Speed and class exude from this model as well, as well as a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a V6 turbo twin engine capable of some 650 hp.

Which one would you choose?
