From amongst the many museums that Maastricht has to offer, one that you have to check out is the Bonnefantenmuseum. This is a museum that exhibits works from the Old Masters as well as contemporary art. The contemporary art collection features works from many international artists.
Some of the main tourist attractions to the city besides the city center and the museums are the Saint Pietersberg caves – this is a marlstone mine which used to be used as a shelter during sieges and bombings – and the Kazematten – a network of bunkers.
