Ongoing Chicago Auto Show 2015

Valentine’s Day in Chicago this year was not all about the birds and the bees. And that is because the corny Lover’s Day on 14th February was somewhat eclipsed by the Chicago Auto Show 2015.

Produced by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA), the largest and oldest dealer association in the US, the Chicago Auto Show has been organized ever since 1935 and is the nation’s largest car show in the calendar. Held at the McCormick Place, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, Illinois between February 14th and February 22nd, the Chicago Auto Show 2015 features a number of exciting exhibitions, both North American and international. They will give you the opportunity to see up close the complete range of 5-seater cars, trucks, utility vehicles, collector cars and concept or experimental cars of today (and tomorrow).

Here is some interesting info on the ongoing Chicago Auto Show 2015:

Auto shows in general are the best place for cars to make their debut, and along the years, the Chicago Auto Show has seen the unveiling of many such models that would go on to become household names.

This year, one of the Chicago Auto Show 2015 revelations has been the 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT, the Korean hatchback model fitted with the latest system of info-tainment. The new model offers an updated navigation system, climate control, LED lights and panoramic sunroof, among others, though the interior stays pretty much the same. What is new is the 173 horsepower coupled with 154 pound-feet torque. Buyers can opt for either the manual or the automatic variant.

There are still many surprises left in store for the Chicago Auto Show 2015, and for the price of 12 Dollars, one can still get access to enjoy the event. If you need to travel in the city, rent a car in Chicago and enjoy the show!
